PA support the Hospital Director.

Location: Solihull – Role is office based 5 days a week

Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday

Salary = £35,000 per annum

This position has become available due to the current PA retiring this year after 9 years in the post. The director this role is reporting is a super inspiring and credible lady. She is very approachable and is direct with her expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening Calls: Manage telephone calls for the Hospital Director and Director of Clinical Services, redirecting them as needed.
  • Welcoming Visitors: Create a warm and professional first impression for all visitors.
  • Diary Coordination: Organize and maintain diaries, schedule appointments, and make necessary changes.
  • Administrative Tasks: Efficiently handle tasks such as typing letters, reports, and presentations.
  • Follow-Up Actions: Ensure timely follow-up on important matters.
  • Meeting Management: Organize, attend, and take minutes during meetings. Prepare agendas and follow up on action items.
  • Liaison: Communicate with Heads of Department on behalf of the Hospital Director and Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous work as a Personal Assistant ideally 3-5 years worth
  • Industry: PA experience within the NHS or private healthcare is desirable
  • Flexible Schedule: Proven ability to manage a dynamic workload.
  • High Standards: Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective Planning: Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consultant Interaction: Ability to interact professionally with consultants.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Task Prioritization: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
