TeacherActive is working with a large College based in North Cambridge. The college has a 'good’ OFSTED rating and boast a 95% success rate of students that go on to find employment or continue in further study. They work closely with 1,500 employers ranging all over the country and abroad which adds to the many career opportunities available for learners at the college.

The college is looking for a passionate and proactive Performing Arts Lecturer who can create and develop engaging and inclusive courses. They need to be able to use a variety of different teaching methods to deliver across a number of topics ranging from acting and dance to marketing and historical development. The Performing Arts Lecturer has to be able to work in line with the creative team to get the best out of their students learning capabilities.

Successful Performing Arts Lecturer will have:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Extensive relevant experience in a specialist education background
  • Knowledge on both theoretical and practical aspects of the principles for acting, dance and musical theatre
