Quest Search & Selection are partnering with this luxury multi-brand retail business that prides itself with working with some of the largest, global branded & own label Home, Outdoor & Fashion brands.

The Role

They are looking for a People Partner to join their Head Office in North Nottingham. As part of the People Partnering team, you will support a range of stakeholders & will report directly into the Head of People Performance.

The roles and responsibilities for People Partner role are :

• Develop and execute a People Plan for key business sectors, incorporating initiatives that align with the company's strategic
• Place emphasis on organisational design to ensure roles and structures are well-suited for talent attraction, retention, and development to facilitate effective succession planning.
• Business partner with the key stakeholders, including the Head Of and Director for that Business Unit
• Assist managers in proactively addressing employee relations issues.
• Work collaboratively with other People teams to deliver transformational change projects.
• Support with initiatives to drive improved engagement levels, positively impacting on people KPIs.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing valued & effective coaching & guidance.
• Identify and build best practice people frameworks, solutions, process & tools that can be used in the business to enhance people/business performance.

To be successful in this People Partner role -

• 4+ years' experience as a HR/People business partner, advisor, manger or in a HR generalist role
• Have worked in a commercial head office setting, ideally in retail, fashion, consumer or FMCG
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment within a highly customer centric service or retail environment.
• Certification or training towards CIPD (ideal but not essential)
• Ability to establish effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Has experience and is able to shape & lead initiatives/change projects.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
