Pensions Management Principle accountant needed in Bedford £440-£550 per day ref 5245163

Hybrid - 2 days required in office in Bedford. 

I am looking for an interim accountant (6 months, possible longer) who can support us with the various financial activities for the Pension Fund including:

  • Investment accounting – quarterly postings from newly appointed custodian.
  • Pension Fund Accounts and Annual Report.
  • External audit
  • Capital calls/distributions
  • ONS Returns
  • FOIs

Ideally a qualified accountant or qualified with relevant LGPS experience and good communication skills as activities will involve liaising with custodian, external auditors, investment managers and our pool company Border to Coast. 

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
