Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pensions Administrator to join the team on a long-term temporary basis. This role has the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing crucial support to our Deputy Pensions Manager and ensuring the efficient administration of pension schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of pension schemes.
- Process pension payments, contributions, and calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Handle pension enquiries from members and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and targets are achieved.
- Previous experience in pension administration is essential.
- Knowledge and experience of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is necessary.
- Familiarity with Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS) and Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
