Pay Rate: £130 - £190 per day

Hours: Full-time.32 hours a week, Monday – Friday.

Main Duties of thePE Teacher:

  • Stay informed about national developments in the curriculum area, teaching methods, and educational practices.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage, continuity, and progression in the curriculum for all students.
  • Implement the school's behaviour management system effectively, utilizing both rewards and sanctions to facilitate optimal learning environments.
  • Adhere to school quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of education.
  • Analyse and interpret student data to identify areas for improvement in teaching and learning, and to establish target goals.
  • Meet faculty targets for student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor student attendance and punctuality to support academic success.
  • Foster effective communication with parents and caregivers, involving them in their child's learning journey and providing updates on curriculum, progress, and goals.
  • Teach specialist subjects to students in KS3-4, following standard teaching duties.
  • Maintain high expectations for all students, recognizing and respecting their diverse backgrounds, and striving to enhance their academic achievements.
  • Demonstrate and promote the school's core values within the learning environment.
  • Document student progress and achievements systematically, providing evidence of their work, growth, and attainment over time.
  • Utilise student progress records to facilitate self-assessment and inform future teaching strategies.

Applicant Requirements of the PE Teacher:

  • Qualifications: Relevant University Degree.
  • Experience:  1+ year of post-graduate experience as a Teacher in the UK.
  • Compliance:  Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. QTS & DBS.
  • Travel:  UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
