PE in Surrey for next term:

PE Teacher (Full Time)

Location: Surrey

Start Date: 2nd September

Duration: 1 year Minimum

Pay Scale: MPS London Fringe equivalent

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at a large, mixed Secondary Academy in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE to students in KS3 to KS5, providing high quality lessons and promoting physical activity and well-being among students.

The school has excellent facilities for sports and physical education, including:

• A large sports hall
• A fitness suite
• An all-weather pitch
• Tennis and netball courts
• Athletics track and field area
• Gym

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching PE to KS3 to KS5 students
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education
• The ability to motivate and engage students in learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other vetting procedures, including:

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK
• References from previous employers
• Qualifications and teacher registration checks
