PDI Technician

A PDI Centre near Southend-On-Sea, Essex is looking for a highly-skilled Prep Technician. You will be apart of a team Technicians. This move could mean a job for life, as they have found the ideal formula for ensuring a low staff churn.

With a focus on individual strengths and personalities, they ensure the workload is spread fairly. For this particular role, they want someone who has expert diagnostic skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to others.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out the more complex diagnostic work as well as routine servicing and repairs as and when needed. There will be duties centred around developing the skill sets of others around you. As well as, speaking with customers directly from time to time to explain certain faults.
In time, you will also be the mentor to the other less experience PDI Technicians.

Requirements

It would be ideal, if you held NVQ Levels 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent as well as have main dealerships experience working as a Diagnostic or Master Technician. That said, most experience will be considered.

Salary and Benefits

They are looking to offer a basic salary £28,000 - £33,000. The OTE will be between £45,000 - £75,000. For anyone applying with Master Technician status they willprovide you with a company car.

The working hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays are 1 in 3, 8am - 1pm.
