We are currently recruiting for an ever-growing Law firm in Bootle who are continuing an exciting expansion of their Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) team. Our client are an expert accident and housing disrepair solicitors and providers of personal injury advice, services and support.

We are looking for a diligent, confident, self-motivated and experienced person to fill the role of PCP Advocate. The ideal candidate will have Trial Experience and be willing to travel.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Represent the Claimant client at Small Claims Trials
  • Represent the Claimant client at Fast Track Trials
  • Represent the Claimant at Preliminary hearings
  • Travel to represent the Claimant at Face-to-Face court listings and attend Remote Court Hearings as necessary
  • Draft and provide attendance notes for fee earners for all attended matters
  • Conduct pretrial conferences with Claimant clients
  • Maintain own Court Diary ensuring efficient management of in house instructions
  • Liaise with management to discuss strengths and weaknesses of progressed matters at trials
  • To assist in developing appropriate processes and documentation for the case management system in relation to representation at Court
  • To identify cases where commercially it would be tactically advantageous to settle or proceed to a final hearing
  • Keep up to date with all industry changes including case law, legislation and other matters of relevance.
