We are working with an international law firm who are seeking a Payroll Specialist reporting to the payroll Manager. This will be a contract role for 3-6 months and a fairly immediate start is required.

Role Overview:

As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of monthly payrolls. Collaborating closely with payroll providers and key stakeholders, you'll deliver exceptional service while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll processing

- Address payroll queries promptly and professionally

- Handle starters, leavers, absences, and monthly changes

- Calculate statutory payments and other adjustments

- Prepare payroll control reports and monthly management reports

- Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement necessary changes

- Manage End of Year statutory returns for HMRC

- Participate in payroll-HR database development projects

Qualifications and Skills:

- Extensive experience in payroll processing

- Strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance, and HMRC reconciliations

- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service

- Self-motivated with a collaborative working style

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Knowledge of international payrolls is advantageous
