Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Gloucester

Employment Type: Full-time but part-time could be considered.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll services for a portfolio of clients. This includes processing payroll, managing queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
  • Managing payroll queries from clients and employees
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and best practices
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports
  • Liaising with HMRC and other statutory bodies as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in payroll software
