Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Gloucester
Employment Type: Full-time but part-time could be considered.
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll services for a portfolio of clients. This includes processing payroll, managing queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Managing payroll queries from clients and employees
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and best practices
- Preparing and submitting payroll reports
- Liaising with HMRC and other statutory bodies as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in payroll software
