Description

  • Oversee the full payroll process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage payroll queries, providing clear and concise responses.
  • Update and maintain payroll records in line with statutory requirements.
  • Deliver regular reports on payroll activities to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation.
  • Liaise with HR to ensure all employee data is up to date.
  • Develop and implement payroll procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Lead a small payroll team, providing support and guidance when necessary.

Profile

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience leading a payroll function in a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle queries and provide guidance.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and systems.
