I’m delighted to be partnering with a Financial Services brand to source their first Payroll Specialist. The Business has been through a significant period of growth and is looking for a knowledgeable, process driven, self-starter to build a centre of excellence. The purpose of the role will be to manage the BAU aspect of the payroll, whilst driving improvements to optimise the current operating model.

Core responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll preparation, processing, and distribution across all of our global entities.

• Ensure compliance with location and national payroll regulations and tax laws across all entities.

• Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies, including net to net checks.

• Preparing and issuing payroll reports to management for approval as required.

• Preparing the monthly pensions upload for the UK office and ensuring timely submission to their benefits broker.

• Be the main point of contact for processing payrolls and responding to enquiries.

• Coordinate with the wider HR team and finance function to ensure accurate employee data and accounting of payroll expenses.

• Stay up to date on changes in payroll laws and regulations, emerging trends and best practices around payroll and payroll technology; implement necessary updates to payroll processes.

• Supporting the technology improvements between HR and Payroll by collaborating with the wider HR team.

• Manage other payroll process enhancements to optimise the payroll process across entities.

• Transitioning company benefits onto the UK payroll as a benefit in kind.
