Salary: £41,000 - £49,000 (plus London Weighting)

Role Overview:
As the Payroll Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll transactions. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex reconciliations, pension schemes, and regulatory compliance. Enjoy a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex Reconciliations: Handle intricate payroll control account reconciliations, pension schemes, and RTI returns.
  • Timely Payroll Processes: Ensure monthly payroll tasks are completed promptly, including BACS file submissions and RTI filings.
  • Pension Data Management: Prepare and submit pension data returns for various schemes (USS, LGPS, TPS, NHS, NEST).
  • Expert Advice: Provide specialist payroll and pensions information, addressing complex staff queries.
  • Data Analysis: Generate regular and ad hoc reports on payroll and pensions data, analysing trends and patterns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and understanding of relevant legislation.
