Page Personnel are working with a Public Sector and Government organisation, based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Payroll Operations Manager on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for leading a team of 6 people and should have a strong background in payroll and pensions, ideally in the Public Sector.

The client is a multi site Public Sector organisation based in Greater Manchester who are focused on improving the lives and outcomes for local residents by offering a high quality service.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Payroll Operations Manager include:

  • Overseeing the provision of a timely and accurate payroll service
  • Shaping the future model and delivery of the payroll service
  • Liaising with pensions managers to ensure all records are accurately maintained
  • Managing a team of six

Profile

The successful Payroll Operations Manager should have:

  • In depth knowledge of payroll and pensions
  • Experience managing a team and strong leadership skills
  • Experience working in Public Sector would be beneficial
  • Ability to manage a busy work load

Job Offer

  • £43,000 - £50,000
  • Hybrid working
  • 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Generous employer pension contributions
