Payroll Officer - Kenilworth - £30k to 35k + £bonus!

FRS are recruiting a Payroll Officer to join a rapidly expanding business who already boast impressive sales & profit figures! Working from their Kenilworth Head Office, you will report into the Payroll Manager and work as part of a team processing circa 500 heads.

The primary focus of this role is to carry out the processing of payroll and related data in accordance with the organisation’s expectations, and its contractual and statutory obligations BUT the business ideally want people in their team who have a bit of personality about them and can join in the office chat and enjoy a bit of banter!

Duties

  • Process weekly / monthly payroll for approx 400 team members
  • Make sure that all tasks are completed within the necessary time limits
  • Maintain relationships with payroll contacts at sites within the business
  • Be aware of the expected standards of quality and timeliness of data submissions from the business
  • Assist in the verification of payroll data prior to final submission
  • Send payslips to sites to arrive by pay day
  • Distribute statutory documentation in accordance with published deadlines
  • Deal with correspondence and queries

Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be

  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous payroll experience
  • Excellent communication skills & personable
  • Excellent organisational skills, with good attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
