Payroll Officer

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently seeking a Payroller to join our client's team based in Weston-Super-Mare+ hybrid working (plus free parking) on an interim basis of 3 months initially, with potential opportunity of a permanent position.

Please note - This role is suitable for candidates looking for either full time or part time hours

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Temporary (3 months) with the potential for permanent placement

Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinate and process weekly and monthly payroll
• Preparation of year end statutory reporting (P11d/P60)
• Assist with management of company pension scheme
• Support the recruitment process, including preparation for interview/offer letters/contracts/reference requests
• Assist in on-boarding of new employees including induction process
• Support ongoing reviews of policies and procedures
• Support Holiday and Absence tracking

Person specification:

Experience needed: Proven experience in payroll administration

Skills needed: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
