A Payroll Officer is sought for a role within a leading Not For Profit organisation. The candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Description
The key responsibilities of an Payroll Officerwill include, but may not be limited to;
- Accurately process payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all payroll related regulations
- Manage and resolve any payroll-related queries
- Maintain up-to-date employee records
- Prepare reports detailing payroll expenses
- Coordinate with HR for any changes affecting payroll
- Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and audit
- Identify areas for improvement in the payroll process and recommend solutions
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in a payroll officer role, preferably within the Not For Profit and Charities sector - education desirable
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of payroll legislation and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Ability to commute to Stoke-on-Trent
