Alexander Daniels is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with Listers, Stratford Upon Avon, in their search for a dynamic Payroll Manager. This a great opportunity for a qualified payroll professional to join a thriving organization. As the Payroll Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the daily management of payroll processing, month/year-end tasks, and staff development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll on a timely and accurate basis for month and year end.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including tax and National Insurance
  • Prepare and submit all necessary reports to HMRC and other statutory bodies.
  • Liaise with employees on payroll matters.
  • Resolve any payroll queries or issues.
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation.
  • Implement and maintain effective payroll procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the payroll function.
  • Redundancy information/calculations.
  • Staff Development.
    • Monthly one to ones.
    • Annual Performance Reviews.
  • Terminating casual leavers (who have not worked for 6 months).
  • Ad hoc report requests.
  • Expenses
  • Annual Reports
    • Planning
    • Annual Leavers
    • NMW Review (information sent to GMs and Directors).

Essential Requirements:

  • CIPP qualification is essential.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives.

Listers' Head Office is located in Stratford upon Avon, and while this role is primarily office-based, flexibility is available to accommodate individual needs.
