Payroll Manager

As a Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of two and be responsible for the comprehensive processing of five monthly payrolls and overseeing two weekly payrolls, ensuring the seamless operation of payroll systems.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Processing five monthly payrolls and overseeing two weekly payrolls.
• Managing all payroll adjustments and deductions.
• Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance.
• Conducting monthly and weekly payroll reconciliations.
• Liaising with HMRC and handling payroll-related queries.
• Managing year-end processes and reporting requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files.
• Preparing employment contracts as needed.
• Staying informed of legislative changes affecting payroll.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid experience with PAYE and payroll processes, including manual calculations.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external coordination.
• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
