Payroll Manager

Location: Lichfield
Contract: ASAP - June 2024
Pay: £153.85 per day
Working Model: Hybrid 2-3 days in the office, the rest from home

About the Role:
We are currently working with a growing and established business in Lichfield, looking for a dedicated Payroll Manager to join them.

Role Overview:
As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment of salaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keying into Sage: Input data into Sage, with the majority already completed and some tasks remaining to be finalised.
• HMRC Compliance: Download updates from HMRC related to student loans, tax code changes, etc.
• Absence Management: Check and input maternity, SSP, and other absences when necessary.
• Leavers Process: Manage the leavers process efficiently.
• Reporting: Pull reports from Sage both pre-update and post month-end.
• Month-end Payroll: Run month-end payroll processes and ensure payslips are uploaded accurately.
• BACS Reporting: Provide BACS report to finance department for salary payment.
• RTI Submissions: Submit Real-Time Information (RTI) submissions as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Sage payroll system.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
