Payroll Manager
- Annual Salary: £35,000 - £43,000

We are in search of a highly capable Payroll Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring that all our employees are paid accurately and on time. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and manage the entire payroll function for the organisation.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
- Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system.
- Oversee the preparation of reports for management, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and best practices.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with UK payroll legislation and employment taxes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential.
