Payroll Manager- Part time

I am working alongside a large manufacturing business based in the South Manchester area who are looking to replace a Payroll Manager due to retirement on a part-time basis. The role is part of a busy payroll department of 2 and works closely with other departments such as Finance and HR.

Key Duties/Tasks:

• Technical skills: relevant payroll systems preferred & excel skills also
• 5 hours a week role
• Support the busy payroll process

• fast paced role role
• Processing the full end to end payroll process
• Automated payroll process with lots of manual checks

• Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries.
• Working to deadlines
• Experience of T & A system very useful

• Salary up to £40,000 FTE

Normal working hours are 36.5 hours per week but as this role is part time the salary is on a pro-rata basis.

Hours are 9:00am to 5.00pm with flexitime option and 1-hour unpaid break.
