I am currently recruiting for a Part Time, Payroll Expenses Officer to work within a close knit team, based in a Global Manufacturing Industry Firm in Poole.

This is a part time role to play a key part in preparing monthly payroll information and reviewing and posting staff expenses, as well as supporting the finance team with ad hoc projects.

Payroll & Expenses Officer
Part Time - 20 hours per week
Salary £18,000 (for 20 hours per week)

Duties:

- Prepare monthly payroll submission reports, including any relevant employee data changes, for upload to an outsourced payroll portal for 3 UK and 1 US company
- Review returned payroll outsourced reports; prepare for final approvals
- Downloading and reviewing the clocking in data report for production staff, managing timesheet data and liaising with managers and HR for specific or missing information
- Prepare and process relevant payroll journals
- Reconcile all relevant payroll control accounts monthly and assist with annual Audit

Requirements

· Part-qualified (AAT 3 level or equivalent) with previous experience in managing payroll and expenses to enable you to instantly add value
- Training will be provided to aid with your development in this position.
- Intermediate to advanced level of excel skills
- You are organised, efficient and have an eye for detail in order to meet deadlines.
- You love to be part of a team, with a desire to learn and grow in the function.
