Position: Assistant for Accounts and Payroll

Work Hours: 30 hours weekly, flexible schedule with one day of hybrid work

Compensation: Approximately £20,000 - £22,000, depending on experience

Role Objective:

The primary role is to support the Finance Officer in managing payroll, accounts, and general bookkeeping tasks. This includes handling Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, and Credit Control. The role also involves performing general office tasks as needed.

Key Duties:

1. Assist and manage the input and verification of monthly payroll processes using the Staff Planner rota system and Sage 50 payroll system.

2. Handle Sales Ledger tasks including invoicing, cash allocation, credit control, and customer maintenance.

3. Manage Purchase Ledger – oversee payments and process invoices and expenses.

4. Maintain bank accounts and perform reconciliation of Bank Accounts.

5. Analyse credit card statements.

6. Design and upkeep excel spreadsheets.

7. Act as a stand-in for the Finance Officer during their absence.

8. Perform other administrative tasks as needed within your skill set.

General Duties:

1. Support the Finance Officer with daily accounting & bookkeeping processes.

2. Perform general administrative tasks including answering phone calls, filing, data collection.

3. Represent and promote Frontier Support Services Ltd positively to our clients and partner organizations.

4. Carry out any reasonable task assigned by the Directors that aligns with your skills and experience.
