Payroll Assistant - Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Join a highly successful and growing manufacturing business based in Tredegar. We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to cover a maternity leave on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Head Office has recently undergone a state-of-the-art refurbishment, providing a modern and comfortable working environment.

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our clients' dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' payroll experience, with manufacturing industry experience being a significant advantage. The role offers flexible working hours tailored to suit the candidate's needs across the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing monthly payroll accurately and timely
  • Handling payroll queries from employees
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records
  • Calculating and processing statutory payments
  • Assisting with year-end payroll processes
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements:
