We have a new and exciting opportunity available, working on behalf of our well-established client who are based within Great Barr.

Due to continued growth, our client is actively recruiting for an experienced Payroll Assistant to start immediately, joining the company's existing team on a permanent basis following a successful temp - perm period.

We are looking for a driven candidate to become part of a multi-functional team, in a fast paced environment and provide all round support, with the initial main aspect being to process a weekly PAYE payroll for multiple company locations.

The successful applicant will be responsible for daily tasks such as:

  • Processing a weekly PAYE payroll
  • Processing payments, invoices and receipts
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Controlling all outstanding invoices
  • Preparing reports
  • Maintaining all financial records and data accurately and within agreed systems
  • General administration
  • Opening and distributing post
  • Provide assistance and support to company Managers and/or Directors as required

The role is offered on a full-time basis, working 9am-5pm - 37.5 hrs per week

In return our client offers a starting rate of £12.80 - £13.00 p/h, increasing after probationary period + some great additional benefits!
