Payroll Assistant
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to work for a well established company based in the Billingshurst, West Sussex area. The main purpose of the Payroll Assistant role is to process weekly payroll and maintain payroll data.
Salary: £27-30K
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Location: Office based, parking onsite
Payroll Assistant duties:
- Processing weekly payroll, CIS payments and calculating payments
- Checking and processing Pensions submissions
- P32 and P11d submissions
- Monitoring and updating payroll records, checking and reconciling payroll reports
- Preparing payroll journals
- Handling any employee, payroll queries
- Assist with the finance team with any other accounting support if required
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience working in payroll position - experience of PAYE, NIC and CIS
- Ideally have used Sage 50 Payroll and Sage 50 Accounts
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
