Location: Chaddesden, Derby

14 months fixed term contract

Salary: £28k-£30k, depending on experience, free parking, and company benefits

Hours: 8am-4.30pm - Hybrid working, - 3 days in office and 2 days home

An amazing opportunity for an experience Payroll Administrator to join a busy and friendly payroll team, based near Chaddesden, Derby.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be reporting to the Payroll Team Leader and providing support to the payroll department and team, your responsibilities will be to managing the start to end payroll processes, including statutory payments and pensions.

The main duties of the Payroll Administrator will be:

  • Providing support to the payroll department and team
  • Processing starters and leavers information
  • Calculating monthly payroll from start to finish including starters, leavers, statutory payments,
  • Processing SSP/SMP calculations and statutory documents such as P6, P45, P60, Court Orders. Tax credits, Student Loans
  • Overseeing the annual P11D
  • Managing a variety of company pension schemes
  • Investigating and resolving payroll queries
  • Working to strict deadlines
  • Ad hoc duties

Ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Administrator

  • Experience and knowledge of Payroll processes.
  • Able to work within high volume payroll environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work to strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Sage or other payroll systems
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
