Search are excited to be working with an internationally listed defence organisation who are looking for a payroll administrator to join their payroll team on a contract basis until the end of 2024. Having recently implemented a new payroll system this person will have a diverse and sufficient experience within payroll in order to support on any troubleshooting issues.

As an expert within payroll you will be able to prioritise task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to manually move with a changing landscape. You'll be comfortable working until the end of the year and help with all teething problems within the system change.

You'll be comfortable with end-to-end payroll management alongside any potential manual payroll calculations.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a super user of the payroll system
  • A key member of the payroll team adhering to all deadlines and checking of accuracy
  • Identify any anomalies, trends or errors to drive solutions
  • Provide relevant inductions for the payroll system
  • Support on any audit requests
  • Create relevant reports for department
  • Streamline and create more efficient processes where required/necessary

Person:

  • An expert within end-to-end payroll
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Personable with strong communication skills
  • Experience with WorkDay system desirable (not essential)
  • Strong excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, SumIFs

On Offer:

An hourly rate of pay up to £20/hour, hybrid working and personable and culture driven office. This role will be contracted until the end of 2024 and therefore, you must be comfortable with this.
