Are you an experienced Payroller looking for a part-time opportunity? Are you proficient in Sage Payroll? If so, Reed Accountancy have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our Accounting team are representing a client who are based in Thornaby, looking to recruit a Payroll & Accounts Assistant on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Paying a salary £23K - £25K FTE, depending on experience, and a friendly and supportive work environment.

You will be responsible for running the monthly payroll from start to finish, with support from the rest of the HR and Exec team. You will also assist with other accounts duties, such as cashflow forecasting, daily banking, and preparing management information and management accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- At least 2 years of experience in payroll - Sage Payroll essential
- A good understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and NI
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The availability to work 20 hours per week, flexible on days and hours
