Patent Litigation Associate
Our client, a leading law firm known for its exceptional service and expertise in intellectual property law, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Patent Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team. This prestigious firm is at the forefront of the legal industry, specialising in a broad spectrum of IP litigation cases. With a particular emphasis on patent litigation, my client offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for a talented professional eager to advance their career.
The successful candidate will be involved in complex UK litigation as well as the coordination of multi-jurisdictional litigation across the globe. This includes representing clients in high-profile cases before esteemed legal entities such as the General Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, IP Enterprise Court, and UKIPO. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on ground-breaking cases involving cutting-edge technology and significant legal principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and participating in UK and international patent litigation
- Developing strategies for complex litigation cases across various jurisdictions
- Working closely with a team of experts to deliver tailored legal solutions to our clients
- Staying abreast of developments in technology and life sciences that may impact legal strategies and outcomes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in patent litigation
- A strong academic and professional background in law, with experience gained at a well-respected firm
- Specialised knowledge in technology and/or life sciences, with a preference for candidates having prior studies or qualifications in electronics, engineering, biology, chemistry, or pharmacology
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and research skills
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a team and independently
