Parts Person / Parts Advisor - We have an exciting job opportunity for a leading Accident repair business in the Stratford area. If you have automotive parts or automotive parts advisor / parts assistant experience, and you have worked in an accident repair bodyshop / automotive industry previously, then this could be the right career move for you.

The Job: Parts Advisor / Parts Manager

• The Parts Assistant / parts advisor is a pivotal role in our Accident Repair Centres team.
• You'll be responsible for all aspects of ordering, pricing and administration - even sourcing parts that are unavailable through the usual channels.
• Control the stock control for all paint and consumables.
• You'll liaise with our bodyshop technicians and provide high levels of customer contact and communications throughout the vehicle repairs.
• Accountability for appropriate parts provision service and timely communication to enable effective repairs.
• Identifying, owning and managing the risks involved in running our business appropriate to this role
• Handle body shop requirements swiftly, courteously and efficiently.
• Ensure that Parts on receipt are inspected for damage and that the quantities received match quantity advised on delivery notes and placed into stock locations.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, in particular paying attention to manufacturer guidelines

Job Experience: Parts Assistant / Parts Advisor

The role of Automotive Parts Advisor is very hands-on and the person appointed will have:

• Motor trade experience in a similar environment
• Parts Advisor or parts assistant experience
• Stock control experience
• Ideally automotive bodyshop experience
• Computer literacy and a working knowledge of an in-house stock system would be an advantage
