Partnerships Manager

As the Partnerships Manager at LifeSearch, you play a pivotal role in driving new business growth through strategic partnerships within the protection industry. We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual ideally with a profound understanding of the Life Insurance/Protection market, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in successful business development. We will consider applicants from other markets who can demonstrate significant partnership development results.

The role has a national remit and you will ideally live in commuting distance of Milton Keynes but we will also consider a London base or in commutable distance of our Leeds, West Yorkshire office

£65,400 basic salary + uncapped earnings opportunity + benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and deliver initiatives to improve the partnership performance and customer experience
  • Collaborate with existing partners to maximize growth opportunities and deepen relationships.
  • Continuously research and assess market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new partnership opportunities.

New Business Generation:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to generate new business through relevant partner channels and your panel.
  • Drive success for partners, our business, and mutual customers by optimising the customer journey and conversion across online and offline channels.
  • Work closely with partners to create tailored solutions meeting specific customer needs.
  • Lead the sales process from onboarded, aligning with partner and LifeSearch objectives and revenue targets.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within partner organisations, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Address blockers to our success swiftly, efficiently and in line with our culture
  • Provide guidance, support, and expertise on protection products and industry trends.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Analyse sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to optimise strategies, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, weekly reporting, and effective management of your business pipeline to achieve our goals.

Key Attributes

A proven track record in developing profitable relationships with key business partnerships. This will have been ideally gained in the Life Insurance/Protection industry but we will also consider other markets where you can demonstrate exceptional partnership account growth.

  • Relationship Building - Excel in establishing and nurturing relationships with key partners, including insurers, wealth and mortgage advisers, and other B2B partners.
