Our client is a family run business, with an amazing product and a customer centric approach.  They have stores in the UK and a rapidly growing online, International and concessions business. They really care about people, customers, and the communities in which they trade and are now looking for a Partnership Buying Coordinator. Based out of Amersham, the role offers up to six days per calendar month home working.

As the Partnership Buying Coordinator, you’ll be the key point of contact within the buying team for the business, coordinating the buying and commercial support required across Partnerships. This unique and exciting role is diverse and challenging and offers the opportunity to help shape and evolve the way that the business operates and trade these channels. You will be a brilliant coordinator with great communication skills and a natural ability to liaise cross functionally between internal departments and partners. You will also possess good analytical skills, and be super organised. This could be a great role for an existing Store, Assistant or Deputy Manager looking to make a move into a head office role. 

Partnership Buying Coordinator – Responsibilities

- Work directly with the Partnership Buying team to support the partners in the delivery of all relevant KPI’s – Sales, Profitability and Stock.

- Key point of contact for both the business for buying related information and support.

- Ensure that all ranges are built, suitable, compliant, and relevant for all Partners within the Critical Path.

- Attend selected supplier previews to support range building process.

- Support the Partnership Buying Assistant in managing the price changes and price establishment process for relevant partners.

- Liaise with Buying, Marketing, Retail Operations and Logistics Planning to support the agreed promotional Calendar and trading plans for partners.

- Work closely with Marketing and Promotions Manager to agree any catalogues or publications to be signed off by the Head of Buying.

- Analyse and review stock and sales information to support order sign off process.

- Supply new channel packs for potential new partner opportunities.

Partnership Buying Coordinator – Required Skills

- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced retail buying department is preferred. Ideally with a seasonal trading retailer.

- Natural interest and curiosity in retail trading.

- Experienced in managing and motivating people, with an open and inclusive style.

- Adept at managing and developing relationships in a cross functional role

- Excellent organisational skills with ability to multi -task and prioritise effectively

- Proven track record in delivering high quality administrative tasks

- Excellent numeracy, accurate, and fully PC literate with good Excel skills

- Commercially aware with a well-developed understanding of business processes.
