Part Time - Teaching Assistant Role

We are looking for a specialist TA who wants to excel their career in education and work within some of our top schools in London. The role will require someone who is enthusiastic about supporting pupils with some Special education needs such as ADHD TA to support a KS2 boy with his class work.

Ideal Candidate:

• Supervising and supporting a child with mild ADHD as a 1:1.
• Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies.
• Supporting with behaviour management.
• Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals.
• Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty
• Establishing good relationships with children.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
• Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours.
• Safeguarding experience.
• Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
• We require a DBS (Not Mandatory as we can provide one)
