Part-time - Sales Advisor

Our client, a well-established teak garden furniture retailer, is on the lookout for vibrant individuals to join their brand new showroom team in Guildford and make an impact on the luxury retail scene.

??Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 DOE (pro rata if 4 days) plus £5K commission paid annually (scaled if part-time)

?? Location: Guildford

? Hours: Hours included on a rota basis: 09:30 - 17:30 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 - 16:00 on Sundays

Fulltime - 5 days a week on a rota basis

Part-time - 4 days a week on a rota basis

Both types of employment will include weekends and spring/summer Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales and margin targets for the showroom.
• Elevate the in-store presentation of the teak furniture range.
• Develop a deep understanding of product features, advantages, and benefits.
• Actively participate in sales meetings, reporting against targets and proposing sales initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• Successful experience in specialist/premium retail sales.
• Understanding of the customer journey towards a luxury purchase.
• Skilled salesperson with the ability to question, present benefits, and close deals.
• Passionate individual with an engaging personality, forming excellent customer relationships quickly.
• Full driving license and own transport are essential.

Person Specification:

• Preferred background in retail sales from a premium product environment.
• Passionate about the product range and willing to learn technical details.
• Experience in retail sales from a quality company (furniture or garden products experience is a plus).
