Part Time Payroll Administrator

Our client an established, professional, and forward-thinking company based in the Eastleigh area with lovely offices, free parking and a friendly team are currently looking to recruit a payroll administrator on a part time basis between 15-25 hours per week. They can be flexible with how the hours are split as long as the hours include a Wednesday. If you possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision in payroll administration this could be the role for you.

Role: Part Time Payroll Administrator Where: Eastleigh Salary: c£30-32,000pa (pro rata)

Responsibilities will include:

  • Calculating payrolls within various frequencies, setting up new employees and issue P45s to leavers.
  • Complying with HMRC RTI regulations and process P60s at the end of the tax year PAYE.
  • Entering beneficiary details on Barclays for enhanced service payrolls.
  • Entering salary payments on Barclays for enhanced service payrolls, including International Payments.
  • Paying HMRC PAYE liabilities for enhanced payrolls.
  • Setting up and calculating statutory payments.
  • Emailing clients payroll reports.
  • Writing to clients informing them of PAYE liabilities.
  • Setting up and calculating various pension schemes.
  • Check and pay employee expenses.
  • Attend yearly seminars.
  • Completing time sheet accurately daily.

You will need:

  • Previous experience of payroll administration.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Auto Enrolment Pension Schemes.
  • Internet banking.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT Skills including MS Word and Excel
