Our esteemed client, boasting several outstanding settings in Leeds, has entrusted us with finding top-tier nursery assistants. They seek individuals with experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years. Your previous experiences will be valued here, and collaboration with colleagues is encouraged. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of children's health and safety at all times
  • Recognise and accommodate each child's unique learning stage by adjusting activities accordingly
  • Assist with meal times and hygiene routines
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children at all times
  • Cultivate positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication
  • Assist in maintaining records of children's daily activities, including meals and other pertinent details
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and support the room leader with tasks and routines

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or obtainable through Randstad)
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Awareness of health and safety protocols
  • Friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Familiarity with the EYFS curriculum desirable
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
