Part time Management Accountant

Part time Management Accountant | Trafford Park - Office Based | 6 Month Temporary Contract | £40,000-£45,000

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing SME manufacturing business in their search for a Part time Management Accountant to come and work in their offices in Trafford Park.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for month end accounting
• Posting journals, accruals, prepayments etc.
• Management of the balance sheet
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Variance analysis
• Assist with the production of statutory accounts
• Assist with the payroll process
• Involvement in integration of acquisitions
• Look to improve processes, procedures and systems

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
