Joining a friendly, small firm of solicitors in the Bognor Regis area, the successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including:

  • Performing daily banking functions
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Paying invoices
  • Paying disbursements for clients
  • Checking and authorising invoices to clients
  • Resolving ledger discrepancies
  • Undertaking general accounts reporting
  • PAYE Payroll & administration duties
  • Submissiong of VAT returns
  • Keeping up to date with Solicitors Accounts Rules and keeping compliance when performing duties

Previous Legal Cashiering experience would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The firm can consider a Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant with strong previous accounting experience. The firm are ideally looking for someone to work between 10-20 hours per week and are flexible regarding how these hours can be spread.
