Part time Housekeeper - Essex

Silver Swan is currently seeking a helpful, flexible part time Housekeeper for a lovely young family based near Loughton, Essex. The successful Housekeeper will be working in a large 5 bedroom detached house. Our clients have an 18 month old daughter, and while some occasional help with childcare would be appreciated, it’s not essential. We are looking for a Housekeeper who is also happy to help with some family style cooking and meal prep - this is not the main focus of the role, but the family would love someone who is happy to cook and fridge fill for the week.

We are looking for the Housekeeper to be available for approximately 2 full days per week. There is another cleaner employed on a full time basis. My clients aren’t in an immediate rush, and would rather take their time to get the right person in place. The nearest station is Loughton, which is on the Central line.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of general housekeeper duties and assisting with deep cleaning of the property
• Working alongside the full time cleaner to ensure the household is kept clean and well organised
• Assisting with laundry and ironing
• Family style cooking - lasagne, salads, roasts etc.
• Fridge filling for the week would be a huge bonus
• Household shopping and errands

Ideal candidate:

• Candidates MUST have the right to live and work in the UK
• Driver would be a bonus but is not essential - Loughton station is close by
• Previous experience in a similar role as a Housekeeper
• Flexible to work additional hours with notice if needed

Package:

• Working week: 2 days / week 9am - 5pm ideally
• Start: When the right Housekeeper candidate is found
• Salary: £20 / hour approx.
