Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: Up to 60k FTE

Employment Type: Part Time - 3-4 days a week, Permanent

Role Overview: As the Financial Controller you'll be at the heart of the financial strategy, supporting decision making and driving business growth through the production and monitoring of accounts, forecasts and budgets along with the control and processing of all financial income and expenditure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce, cost, forecast and update the financial budgets and subsequent forecasts

• Forecast and control the Companies cash position

• Monitor and record all financial transactions

• Ensure the management accounts, VAT returns and statutory accounts are completed accurately and on time

• Maintain and control the computer systems and ensure processes are robust and up to date

• Attend Board meetings with strategic updated of findings

• Ensure the statutory records and legal obligations are fully met.

• Provide commercial insight on margins, profitability to ensure business growth

The Person:

• CIMA qualified

• A good knowledge of accountancy methods and techniques

• Ability to produce budgets and evaluate financial performance

• A commercial acumen with a good knowledge of business

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• An experienced and effective man-manager
