We are recruiting for a newly created role for a small privately owned travel business. Are you looking for a part time role working 3 days a week (1 from home) in a hands-on Finance Manager role?

This role is responsible for maintaining the books and records for the business, processing sales and purchase invoices and closing at month end. The successful candidate will also be required to help with additional tasks.

You will be responsible for:-

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Allocating receipts and payments
  • Posting journals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Chasing debt for the business
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Managing relationships with the bank

You will need:-

  • Previous experience in a bookkeeping / hands on finance environment
  • Fully qualified, part qualified or QBE will be considered
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hands on
  • Positive attitude and ability to work with autonomy
