Part-time Finance Director

I am recruiting an Interim Part-time Finance Director (3 days per week / 1 day in the office) for a scale-up life sciences / BioTech business located close to Oxford.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will:

• Own the accounting processes for the business including month-end close, management accounts, authorising payments etc.
• Present financial information to the board.
• Attend board meetings and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Produce insightful and meaningful Management Information (MI) and Analytics.
• Ensure that ongoing process improvement occurs.
• Perform financial analysis with particular focus on cash flow.
• Build and manage banking and investor relationships.

Your profile:

• A hands on Finance Director (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent)
• Financial management experience gained in a similar sized (SME / start-up / scale-up) business where you have had responsibility for all financial activity from the bottom up reporting to a CEO / MD / Founder.
• Experience gained in an Investor backed business would be beneficial.
• Available at short notice and able to start early April.

Hybrid - 3 days per week with 1 day per week in the office
