Marc Daniels are recruiting a part time Finance Assistant to join a multinational company based in Uxbridge.

This role offers hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)

YOU MUST BE ON A SHORT NOTICE PERIOD (1 WEEK MAX)

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in reconciling accounts payable and receivable statements.
  • Run weekly Bank Vendor Payments
  • Match AP Invoices/PO's and coding for posting.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department, such as organizing files, answering phones, and responding to inquiries.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work without close supervision and have the initiative to deal with problems as they arise or refer them to supervisors for further investigation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages specifically Excel
  • Strong numeracy skills e.g., Mathematically competent
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with multiple tasks.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload on a daily basis
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
