PART TIME - Events and Business Development Assistant, Bath
- Job Type: Part-time
- Location: Bath, occasional travel to Bristol
- Salary: Competitive, open to negotiation depending on experience
Events
- Support the Events Manager in delivering a comprehensive events programme.
- Conduct venue searches, book tickets, transport, and accommodation.
- Manage RSVPs and support local office teams with event organisation.
- Collate invite lists using the CRM system and collect event feedback.
- Update the National Events Calendar and contribute to the monthly board report.
Business Development
- Assist the Head of Partnerships with organising business development meetings, including coordination of external attendees and travel arrangements.
- Prepare presentations for meetings and events and communicate internal business development opportunities.
- Conduct research for meetings, sector development, and workshops.
Data Management
- Audit project and contact data alongside the Senior Data Coordinator.
- Update company and contact data in the CRM system.
- Add business development notes post-events and meetings.
The balance of the role will vary depending on the immediate demands of specific events or business development activities.
What skills and qualifications we are looking for:- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and strong organisational skills.
- Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Experience using a CRM system.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
