Part Time Bookkeeper FULLY REMOTE
Location: Fully remote with ability to commute to Runcorn occasionally
Salary: £27-32k FTE (pro rata)
Hours: 15-20 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper for our client who has a successful distribution company. This will be a standalone role and requires someone who can self-motivate whilst being based at home. The ideal candidate will have the following experience listed below:
Responsibilities:
Managing Invoice Queries: Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to invoices in a timely manner.
Supplier Sales Invoices: Processing and recording supplier sales invoices accurately.
Purchase Ledger Duties: Maintaining accurate records of purchase transactions and ensuring timely payments.
Invoicing POs (Purchase Orders): Generating and processing invoices for purchase orders efficiently.
Setting Up Payments: Coordinating and scheduling payments to suppliers and vendors.
Credit Control: Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up with clients for timely payments.
Administrative Duties: Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the finance department.
Communication: Serving as a primary point of contact for financial inquiries, both internally and externally. Effectively communicating via phone and email.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably with knowledge of Xero software.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Remote Work: Comfortable working remotely, with a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
Availability: Flexible availability to work 15-20 hours per week depending on your requirements.
Location: Must be able to commute to Runcorn occasionally for meetings or team events
