This role is based in Hurst (RG10) and is office based for 12 hours per week, our client is open to discussion on how those hours are worked, but would like office presence for at least 3 days per week ideally.

You are working in a lovely location, supporting a small team of engineers and the management team. You will be responsible for sales ledger functions including:

  • Raising sales invoices in conjunction with the Operations Director
  • Credit control
  • Allocating receipts
  • Updating Job Log (Excel) system with invoice numbers and receipts information
  • Ensuring all new sales ledger credit accounts are correctly set up with the required paperwork and with credit checks as appropriate
  • Performing credit control function to ensure that the MD and Operations Director are kept informed of any accounts with payment difficulties
  • Taking incoming phone calls and either passing them to relevant person or taking down and passing on messages as appropriate
  • Assisting production of quotations in conjunction with Operations Director
  • Assisting with administration of the annual stock take (including preparation and update of the stock valuation on Excel)
  • Any other duties that may be requested to be done from time to time

The person:

  • Experience in a similar accounts role
  • Excellent Excel and data entry skills
  • Team player
  • Highly organised
  • Diligent
